Per-Mile Coverage

What's Covered

Per-mile coverage reduces your out-of-pocket liability for the following types of vehicle damage, up to the deductible amount:

• Collision damage
• Dent and scratch repair
• Light and lamp damage
• Windshield and window damage
• Tire damage
• Paint damage from minor accidents

What's Not Covered

Per-mile coverage does not apply to damage resulting from any of the following:

• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Reckless or grossly negligent vehicle operation
• Intentional damage or vandalism
• Theft of the vehicle or its components
• Prohibited uses, including commercial activity, ride-sharing, and off-road driving
• Total loss accidents
• Violations of the Ohana Mobility Terms of Service
• Exceeding vehicle weight or passenger limits

Hawaii Insurance Requirements

Ohana Mobility maintains liability insurance in compliance with Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 431:10C. Our coverage meets or exceeds state-mandated financial responsibility minimums:

• Bodily injury: $40,000 per person / $80,000 per accident
• Property damage: $20,000 minimum

This liability insurance is excess coverage only. Your personal auto insurance is considered primary. We strongly recommend reviewing your personal auto insurance policy before renting to understand what coverage, if any, extends to vehicle-sharing services.

Per-mile coverage does not replace personal auto insurance. It covers vehicle damage only and does not provide liability, medical, or uninsured motorist coverage.
